The hearing of the bail application for a 52-year-old man who has been charged with sex-related crimes has been deferred to tomorrow.
The man is charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of attempted rape.
It is alleged that the 52-year-old man sexually assaulted and attempted to rape his 13-year-old grand-daughter between the 1st of December 2016 to January 2017.
Police prosecutor Corporal Sanil Kumar objected to bail on the grounds that the victim is a minor and they are related to each other.
The bail ruling will be delivered at 9.30am tomorrow.
