Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Gareth Baber says the national players are working hard to perform this weekend in the Hamilton 7s.
After a disappointing sixth place finish in Sydney last weekend, a lot of Fiji 7s fans have publicly expressed their disappointment about the team’s performance.
Baber says he never wants a team to lose but to do what’s right for Fiji and the Fiji Rugby Union.
Fiji last won a tournament in Hong Kong last year and have not won any tournament since.
They will take on Wales in their first game at 11.36am tomorrow, they will then face Spain at 3.02pm before taking on Australia at 6.50pm tomorrow.
The medal quarterfinals will start at 11.36am Sunday, the semifinal will be at 3.49pm while the final will start at 7.03pm Sunday.
