Former New Zealand 7s captain DJ Forbes will be commentating in the Hamilton 7s this weekend.
Speaking to Stuff.co, Forbes revealed that he still plays rugby at invitational tournaments and does a bit of commentary adding that when the time is right the end goal is to move into a coaching career.
The 2008 World Rugby sevens player of the year believes that the time was right to move the New Zealand Sevens away from Wellington, with ticket sales in the last two editions falling away.
The Hamilton 7s will start tomorrow and end on Sunday.
