The 39‑year‑old doctor who allegedly murdered a man in Suva City on the 26th of last month has been further remanded in custody.
Marvin Ketenilagi was not present in court today as he was still in Police custody when his case was called.
It is alleged that Ketenilagi saw the man with a boy who was crying and later assaulted the man.
Ketenilagi was last seen by a security officer, allegedly assaulting the victim.
The victim was on his way to Totogo Police Station when he lost consciousness while driving.
The officers then took him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The case will now be called for mention next Monday.
A production order has been issued for Ketenilagi.
