Thousands of people living in many parts of Tacirua and Colo-i-Suva are currently without water.

This is due to low water levels in the Tovata Reservoir and the disruption will continue until midday today.

Affected areas include Sakoca, Tacirua Heights, Tacirua, Dokanaisuva, Savutalele, Colo‑i‑Suva Village, Ministry of Forestry, Uluibeka and Naisogo.

The Water Authority of Fiji has confirmed that Water Carting Trucks will be on standby.
