Suva High Court Judge Justice Riyaz Hamza has discharged the case against a 23-year-old man accused of rape after the state filed a Nolle Prosequi this morning.
A Nolle Prosequi is a formal notice of abandonment by a prosecutor.
Eddie Murphy was alleged to have raped a Scottish volunteer in Namosi when they were doing project works for a volunteer group sometime in 2016.
