The Fiji Electricity Authority says there are a lot of faults in areas affected by flooding.

It says they need to ensure that the power lines are thoroughly inspected to identify the faults and hazards before they are repaired and tested prior to the power lines being energized.

Parts of Sigatoka, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Tavua and Rakiraki are still without power.
