The Water Authority of Fiji is urging residents from the Western Division to call them and request for water carting if they are experiencing water disruptions.
Fijivillage had received reports from some residents in Ba that there was no water carting.
Water Authority of Fiji says that they will only serve those residents that have requested for water carting.
The Authority had earlier confirmed that most of their pipes and water pump stations were damaged due to flood waters which have resulted in no water supply in some areas in the Western Division.
They have confirmed that there is no time frame on when the water will be restored to these affected areas.
A team from the Water Authority of Fiji has been deployed to assess the damage to their infrastructure.
The affected areas include parts of Navua, Sigatoka, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Tavua and Rakiraki.
Members of the public can call the number 3346777 or 5777 if they are in need for water carting.
