Some houses in Vunivesi Savusavu submerged in flood waters this morning

Some houses in Vunivesi Village in Savusavu were fully submerged in flood waters at around 3am today.

This has been confirmed by Divisional Police Commander Northern SSP Eparama Waqa.

Waqa says the village is situated beside a river.
