Suva lawyer Devanesh Sharma has been appointed as Sugar Industry Tribunal for a term of 3 years.

The appointment was made by appointing authority Chief Justice Anthony Gates.

The appointment has been effective from the 28th of last month and it is expected that Sharma will visit the Lautoka office next week.

Sharma who is the former President of the Fiji Law Society is a partner in Suva law firm R. Patel and Co.

Sharma is admitted to both the Fijian and New Zealand Bar.
