The Ba Market Vendors Association were appreciative of the help that was provided to them by the Nausori Market Vendors Club.

The Ba market was affected by the recent flooding.

Association President Nitesh Prasad says the vendors lost majority of their produce adding they are doing assessment to find the cost of damages.

Prasad says there are about 340 market vendors in Ba.

The Nausori Market Vendors collected more than $4000 food items for their counterparts in Ba.

This included Rice, Flour, Sugar, Salt, Noodles, Tinned Fish, Clothes and root crops.
