A 71-year old woman has died following a road accident at Nabukelevu Road in Serua at around 4pm yesterday.
The deceased woman was in the vehicle with a 46-year-old man who was the driver and it is alleged that the vehicle veered off the road resulting in the accident.
Another woman and a man are still admitted in the Navua Hospital in a stable condition meanwhile the driver is in police custody as investigations continue.
The road death toll currently stands at 11 compared to 14 for the same period last year.
