The Hurricanes scored a try in the final play of the game as they edged out the Sharks 38-37 in a thrilling Super Rugby Match last night.

Ngani Laumape and Ihaia West were the heroes for their team as Laumape scored the try while West made the winning conversion.

The Sharks were leading 27-19 at halftime.

Hurricanes also secured their fifth‑successive victory.

The Hurricanes were missing Beauden Barrett through an injury.

Meanwhile, in today’s Super Rugby matches, the Sunwolves will take on the Waratahs at 5.15pm, the Chiefs will face the Blues at 7.35pm and the Brumbies will take on the Reds at 9.45pm.

In tomorrow’s matches the Lions face the Stormers 3.15am while the Jaguares take on the Crusaders at 8.40am.
