The Fiji Electricity Authority has confirmed that they are monitoring the weather situation, however, no plan has yet been put in place to shut down electricity considering the current weather situation.

FEA says that they have a team who are consistently working around the clock to restore power supply to areas in the Western Division and Northern Division that are still without power.

The Authority also confirmed that supply to areas that were affected since last weekend are almost reaching 100% restoration.

Meanwhile, a team is also working to restore power in areas in Nadera that were without power since this morning.

FEA says that the outage is due to an isolated fault and power is expected to be restored later this afternoon.
