Fiji Airways Flying Fijians coach John McKee has selected some of his players to play for the Swire Shipping Fiji Warriors in the World Series Rugby tonight.
They include halfback Serupepeli Vularika, captain Mosese Voka and prop Joeli Veitayaki.
The Western Force are expecting a fast and furious Warriors side who have been boosted by new laws that suit their traditional running flair.
McKee says that the side also includes players who were members of the Fijian under‑23 side that won its third successive World Rugby Pacific Challenge title earlier this year.
Meanwhile the game tonight sees a sell out crowd of 20,000 fans who are eager to watch the new competition.
The Word Series Rugby is bankrolled by mining billionaire Andrew Forrest as part of his plan to resurrect the Force after it was kicked out of the Super Rugby competition.
His next goal is the Asia‑Pacific Championship in 2019 that McKee hopes will help ease the huge number of players that have been getting contracts in Europe.
Meanwhile former South African center Jaque Fourie will be playing for Western Force.
The Fiji Warriors will take on Western Force at 10.30 tonight.
