Two twenty feet containers of relief supplies are currently on its way to Fiji from Auckland, New Zealand to assist those that were affected by the recent floods in the Western division.
These supplies have been donated by the Fijian Community in New Zealand.
Fiji’s Honorary Consul in Auckland, Harish Lodhia says the containers contain new and second‑hand clothing, new plastic tubs and buckets, assorted non‑perishable packaged food items such as flour, canned baked beans, cooking oil, bottled drinking water, rice and other items.
Lodhia says the assistance is targeted towards the affected families in Ba.
