A man who has pleaded guilty to one count of robbery will be sentenced on the 16th of this month.
20-year-old Jone Delai robbed a 26-year-old man of his mobile phone worth $139 while he was walking on the street.
He had also slapped the complainant in the process of stealing the phone.
Judge Justice Daniel Goundar questioned Delai's older brother on why Delai had not completed his studies after recovery from a leg injury to which his brother told the court that it was due to peer pressure.
Justice Goundar has asked the brother to get his parents to court on the day of the sentencing.
