Former NRL star and Flying Fijians new find Semi Radradra won man‑of‑the‑match – and the adoration of northern‑hemisphere rugby fans in the Barbarians’ 63‑45 victory over England this morning.
Radradra set up two tries and scored a brilliant five‑pointer of his own with a scything 30 metres run to score and apply more pressure on England coach Eddie Jones.
His Toulon team‑mate and England exile Chris Ashton, who called Radradra one of the best three players he’s ever played with, scored a hat‑trick to send a message to Jones.
Another player who was outstanding in this match was Josua Tuisova who scored a try and set up a few for Ashton.Radradra and Tuisova have both been named in the Flying Fijians squad ahead of the June Test series.
The Flying Fijians will be having their camp this week ahead of their match against Samoa at 3pm next Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
