Police are investigating the death of a 7-year-old girl

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 7-year-old girl of Naua Settlement in Dreketi.

According to Police, the body of the Year 2 student was found floating in the Naua River on Sunday.

She had accompanied her grandmother to attend a funeral.

Police investigations continue.
