Namosi fly-half and former national sevens rep Alivereti Veitokani has joined the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians as they started their camp this morning ahead of their June Test Series.
Flying Fijians coach, John McKee has already mentioned that Veitokani will be a back-up for Ben Volavola while Serupepeli Vularika could also play at number 10.
McKee says that he is looking forward to the three games next month against Samoa, Georgia and Tonga.
The players that joined camp today include captain Akapusi Qera, Ben Volavola, Frank Lomani, Tuapati Talemaitoga, Sevanaia Galala, Api Ratuniyarawa, Campese Ma’afu, Manasa Saulo, Kalivati Tawake, Dominiko Waqaniburotu, Ropate Rinakama, Viliame Mata, Nemani Nagusa, Sikeli Nabou, Benito Masilevu and Mosese Voka.
McKee also says that Josua Tuisova and Semi Radradra will remain in London this weekend and should be joining the team soon.
He says that he is expecting 24 out of the 30 players to be in camp today while the rest will join camp before Friday.
The Flying Fijians will take on Samoa in their first match at 3.30pm next Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
