A 26-year-old man has lost his life after he was allegedly hit by two minibuses in Ratu Mara Road yesterday morning.
It is alleged that the man crossed the road from the Fiji National University side where he was hit by the first minibus after which he ran back towards the University and was allegedly hit by another minibus.
The driver of the second minibus immediately took the victim to the CWM Hospital where the man was pronounced dead.
The road death toll stands at 24 compared to 20 for the same period last year.
