Police have confirmed they are investigating a case where a 19-year-old student was allegedly assaulted by another student of a boarding school in Tailevu.

The incident happened at the Eastern Division secondary schools  rugby competition on Friday.

It is also alleged the boy was hospitalised after the alleged incident.
