The Fiji Airways National 7s team are through to the London 7s semifinals after thrashing Canada 40-7 in the quarterfinals.

Fiji scored a total of six tries with Semi Radradra and Sevuloni Mocenacagi scoring a try each in the first half.

The national side was leading 14-7 in the first half.

Coach Gareth Baber reminded the players to win the kickoff and score the first points in the second half.

Paula Draunisinukula scored Fiji’s first try in the second half while Kalione Nasoko, Jasa Veremalua and Vatemo Ravouvou scored a try each to give Fiji a 40-7 win.

Fiji will meet Ireland for their semifinals fixture at 1.48am tomorrow.

Ireland defeated USA 22-12 in the second cup quarterfinal. 

The London 7s final will be played at 4.57am tomorrow.
