A passenger who was travelling in a vehicle that was involved in a fatal accident last Tuesday along Yaqara, Kings Road in Rakiraki passed away at the Lautoka Hospital.
The 21-year-old victim was admitted in critical condition with the second passenger a 21-year-old woman since the day of the accident.
The victim passed away yesterday afternoon.
The accident had left the driver of a rental car dead while the other two passengers were rushed to the Tavua Hospital.
Police say the first victim was driving a rental car which was heading towards Rakiraki with two others when it allegedly collided with a truck travelling in the opposite direction.
