SODELPA Leader, Sitiveni Rabuka admits there are differences in SODELPA and some within the party do not like his leadership or do not like him however they are part of one political party.

Rabuka says he is used to this but they need to focus on changing the leadership of the country.

When asked on whether current SODELPA parliamentarians are against him, Rabuka says these are just personality clashes.

Rabuka said at a fundraising dinner for SODELPA’s Lynda Tabuya that there are factions within SODELPA that would rather burn it to the ground than see him lead; and to them he says that the fight is not about their individual aspirations but about a united vision for a better tomorrow.

He says party members were not very welcoming of the idea of Lynda Tabuya joining SODELPA.

Rabuka talked about sitting around a tanoa when some party members started venting their frustrations about Lynda Tabuya and complaining how she was always in the spotlight and whether Rabuka was aware of this. Rabuka said he is aware of this as he is the one who brought Tabuya into SODELPA.
