Bordeaux center Semi Radradra, Racing 92 lock Leone Nakarawa and Toulon winger Josua Tuisova have all been given more time to rest before joining the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s training squad ahead of the Rugby World Cup 7s next month.
Coach Gareth Baber says that these players have played a lot of high level rugby and needed more time to rest before getting them to reset mode for the World Cup.
Semi Kunatani is the only overseas based player that is currently training with the national squad.
Meanwhile the national 7s squad had a scrimmage session with the Tabadamu 7s team yesterday.
Baber also confirms that Tuisova will be having his traditional wedding this weekend.
Fiji will play either Japan or Uruguay in their first pool match of the Rugby World Cup 7s in San Francisco next month.
