Over a million dollars worth of mobility devices have been handed over to the Spinal Injury Association yesterday in partnership with Physio Net UK and in association with Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation.

Executive Director of Spinal Injury Association, Joshko Wakaniyasi says the value of the mobility devices cannot be gauged.

He says the items that have been handed over are not available in Fiji and for people to source it is not easy.

The devices include over a hundred wheelchairs, over a hundred pairs of crutches, eighty walking frames, five motorized wheelchairs, and eight electronic hospital beds as well as kids diapers, medical consumables, elbow crutches and stuffed toys.

Vodafone Fiji Acting CEO, Ronald Prasad says the team has been  successful in bringing a total of 25 containers of mobility devices worth over 40 million dollars in the last 7 years.
