45‑year‑old, John Nikolic who has been charged with one count of Importation of Illicit Drugs, one count of Unlawful Possession of Illicit Drugs and one count of Failure to declare arms and ammunition to a customs officer had been remanded in custody by the Nadi Magistrates Court.
He is alleged to be involved in the case of the unlawful importation of $40M worth of illicit drugs and ammunition in Denarau last month.
The case has been transferred to the Lautoka High Court and will be called on the 17th of this month.
