A 21-year-old man from Moala who has been charged for one count of abduction has been released on bail by the Suva Magistrates Court.
The alleged incident happened on the 18th of this month and the man was brought into custody on the 19th of this month.
It is alleged that the man knew the 17-year-old girl for two weeks and he allegedly abducted her from her high school in Moala.
The principal of the school lodged the complaint.
The case has been adjourned to the 17th of August.
