The 49-year-old man from Vuda who was a victim of a road accident last Saturday has passed away.

The man who was rushed to the Lautoka Hospital following the accident died yesterday.

The man was allegedly drinking with friends when he wanted to stop a bus and went onto the middle lane and was hit by the bus.

The post mortem examination will be conducted tomorrow.

The bus driver was questioned over the weekend and released.
