The Fiji Roads Authority will be carrying out major maintenance works on the Koronivia Bridge this weekend.
FRA says that access will be prohibited across the bridge and there will be no detour.
The works will include removal and replacement of damaged nailing strip, transverse planks and running boards.
FRA says that the work is schedule from 8pm tomorrow to 6am Sunday.
Motorists are advised to make prior traveling schedules however the Fiji Roads Authority has confirmed that they will have standby vehicles on both sides of the bridge to cater for emergency events.
