Deputy Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu has stressed that they are concerned that marijuana planting has reached the Lau Group.

While speaking to Fijivillage after his presentation to the Methodist Church Conference, Tudravu says that planting marijuana is now a growing trend.

Tudravu says that this is very concerning and they will have to work with the Methodist Church as the largest church denomination to combat this issue.

Tudravu also highlighted that police will continue to hunt down these marijuana planters.

He says that this is a national issue now as it is affecting the members of the community.
