Papua New Guinea beat Fiji by 75 runs in their 2020 ICC World T20 – East Asia Pacific qualifier match at Albert Park yesterday.
PNG managed 188 on 8 wickets to win the match.
The Fiji Cricket team fell short only managing 113 on 9 wickets.
Fiji is still in contention to progress to the ICC World T20 – East Asia Pacific Regional final in 2019.
Fiji had beaten Vanuatu by 3 wickets in their first match.
They finished with 145 on 7 wickets to win the match.
Vanuatu started batting first and they have managed 143 for 9 wickets.
Meanwhile, Papua New Guinea beat Samoa by 80 runs in their first match.
PNG managed 209 on 8 wickets to win the match.
Samoa finished with 129 on 7 wickets.
