A woman in her 30's has filed a police complaint after she was robbed at the Suva Bus stand.
Yashmin Bibi of Narere says while she was in her bus to go home on Wednesday afternoon, a man came from the side of the bus and grabbed her wedding necklace off her neck.
The woman says she was helpless and could not go after the man or
go to police as it was raining heavily at the time.
The wedding necklace is worth around $1,000.
She also says that when she shouted for help she was not heard as there was loud music in the bus.
Bibi has lodged the report at the Totogo Police station yesterday saying that she is concerned about the safety of others while moving around the Suva Bus-stand.
