The Fiji Maritime Surveillance Rescue Coordination Centre is urging people to be on the lookout for 7 people reported missing at sea.
The Rescue Centre confirmed that the 7 people were returning to Nawaikama Village in Gau after leaving Ovalau yesterday.
The Center was informed earlier this morning that the group had failed to return since they left Ovalau at 9am yesterday.
They are traveling in a fiber glass boat.
The Rescue Center is working with Police to search for the missing people believed to be somewhere within the Lomaiviti waters.
