Three people alleged to have been involved in an aggravated robbery in Namaka, Nadi have been charged and will be produced in the Nadi Magistrates Court today.

It is alleged they robbed a woman in her 60s of more than $15,000 cash and cheques outside the ANZ Bank Namaka Branch last Wednesday.

Police have confirmed that cash and cheques worth over $70,000 has been recovered.

Meanwhile, Akshay Nawal Raju who is the alleged getaway driver in the robbery has been remanded in custody.

He will re-appear in court next Wednesday.
