A Fijian family is mourning the loss of their 64-year-old father and grandfather after he passed away in an accident in Sri Lanka.
Chandra Prakash who was a businessman was on holiday in Sri Lanka when the bus he was travelling in had crashed into a transformer while on its way to Colombo from Marawila.
Prakash’s daughter-in-law, Monika Devi says he had taught them the value of hard work not by showing off with what he had but by his kindness and that is the thing that will be mostly missed by their family.
Devi says they were lost for words, when a lawyer from Sri Lanka contacted them about the accident in which her father-in-law had sustained serious injuries and later passed away.
His funeral will take place this Friday.
