Organizers of the 2019 Ram Sami Nasinu 7s have high hopes that the tournament will help their campaign in the fight against non-communicable diseases.
Tournament Organizer Paula Biu says that they are looking for 32 men’s team and 10 women’s team to participate in this tournament.
Biu says they expect big teams like Police, Tabadamu and defending champions Wardens to compete at the tournament.
He says with NCD cases on the rise in Fiji, this tournament will be one of the ways they will help in combating this deadly diseases.
Biu revealed that $5,000 will be given to the winning team while the runner up gets $2,000.
The Ram Sami Nasinu 7s will be held on the 29th and 30th of this month at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
