Good news for job seekers and employers as they will not need to look any further for work or workers with the launch of the first ever pacific wide specialised end to end online recruitment service, based in Suva.
Pacific People’s General Manager, Thelma Taria-Savua says the company is committed to placing more Pacific people into senior roles and building skills through workforce development.
Savua says employers, job seekers or those seeking to fill a role would need to scour newspapers or rely on word of mouth, but now Pacific People’s have made it easier than ever before in bringing it to the desktops or the palm of people’s hands.
She says they are the seamless one stop shop the region has needed for any company or organisation seeking the right person with the right skills and will do the same for job seekers.
Pacific People is the latest initiative to be launched by Australian Volunteers International which is an organisation with more than 50 years of building capacity through the sharing of skills and experience in Fiji and the region.
Meanwhile, Australian Volunteers International Chief Executive Officer Paul Bird says Pacific People harnesses the considerable expertise and experience of AVI in recruitment and workforce development as well as its system and quality.
