A fourth consecutive defeat for the Hurricanes against the Crusaders has once again raised question marks over who should wear the All Blacks number 10 jersey after Beauden Barrett put on a rather less impressive show on Friday night.
The Crusaders romped to a 32‑8 win, which secured them top spot in the New Zealand conference.
New Zealand fans has called for Crusaders first five Richie Mo’unga to take over from Barrett.
The Crusaders just had 38% possession but still outscored the Hurricanes four tries to one.
In Super Rugby this week, the Highlanders meet the Hurricanes at 6.35pm Friday while the Stormers meet the Reds at 9pm Friday.
On Saturday, the Crusaders meet the Brumbies at 4.15pm while the Rebels meet the Waratahs at 6.35pm.
