Deshwar Kishore Dutt who has been convicted of two counts of aggravated robbery appeared in the Fiji Court of Appeal today.
Dutt was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment with 14 years non-parole in 2017 and has appealed against his conviction and sentence.
Justice William Calanchini asked Dutt if other people were tried with him to which Dutt said no.
Dutt said the particulars said there were others but he was the only one tried.
The State has asked for 28 days to file their response.
Dutt also has other cases in court including escape from lawful custody.
