Manchester City stand just two victories away from retaining their English Premier League title after Sergio Aguero's second‑half goal gave them a 1-nil victory over Burnley.
Aguero has scored nine goals in his last eight meetings with Burnley in all competitions.
Since Manchester City lost 2‑1 away at Newcastle in January, they have won each of their past 12 English Premier League games, scoring 27 goals and conceding just three.
City host Leicester in their next match at 7am next Tuesday.
On the EPL table, City leads with 92 points, Liverpool is second with 91 points and Tottenham is third with 70 points.
In other results, Manchester United and Chelsea drew 1-all while Leicester beat Arsenal 3-nil.
