Ben Smith is back in the No 15 jersey as the Highlanders near the end of their All Blacks rest week obligations.
Smith sat out his second 'stand down' fixture against the Sunwolves last week but goes straight into a strong Highlanders team to face the Chiefs in Dunedin on Saturday and is now available for the rest of the season.
The Highlanders will take on the Chiefs at 7.35pm at Forsyth Barr Stadium on Saturday.
