The National Secretary of Fiji Trades Union Congress, Felix Anthony was taken into custody by Police Officers at about 10.30 last night.
Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro confirms that Anthony was taken in for alleged breach of the Public Order Act based on the last investigations.
Anthony was taken in from his home in Lautoka and will be escorted to Suva today.
FTUC says they are trying to ensure he is accompanied by a lawyer.
