The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians game against the Samoans this Saturday will be crucial for coach, John McKee in putting together his team to the Rugby World Cup next month.
McKee is expected to implement new plans this Saturday where he will be testing players that have not had much game time in the past weeks such as Vereniki Goneva, Nikola Matawalu, Joeli Veitayaki and local halfback Serupepeli Vularika.
McKee says the full one week training has been totally focused on building a good combination for Saturday’s game.
He says even though they will not be retaining the PNC title this year, it will be a good platform for them if they finish their Pacific Nations campaign in a good position.
Fiji will take on Samoa at 7.15pm at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station, Viti FM.
The PNC title decider between Japan and USA is at 4.35pm also at the ANZ Stadium.
