The driver of the car that allegedly hit two bikers on Sunday in Nalovo, Nadi and caused serious injuries has been remanded in custody by the Nadi Magistrates Court.
Anand Kumar has been charged with three counts of aggravated dangerous driving occasioning grievance bodily harm and a count of failure to undergo a breath analysis test.
It is alleged that Kumar was heavily intoxicated at the time of the incident.
The two bikers were travelling from Sigatoka to Nadi when they were allegedly hit by a car.
According to Police, the car veered onto the opposite lane and hit the two men causing serious injuries.
Kumar will reappear in court on the 7th of next month.
