A total of 157 drivers were charged for speeding across the country yesterday.

Director Traffic, SSP Mahesh Mishra says two drivers were arrested for drunk driving while two others were charged for careless driving.

11 arrests were made for failure to produce driving license and seven drivers were arrested for illegal operation.

214 drivers were charged for other offences.

A total of 624 vehicles were inspected.
