President, Jioji Konrote is urging all Fijians to be Christ-like this Christmas and to be of service to their fellow neighbours.

In his Christmas message, Konrote says now more than ever is the time for people to work together, love one another, listen to one another and lend their time and resources to those less fortunate in communities.

He has also called on people to report domestic and sexual violence cases when they see or experience it.

He says the prevalence of violence against women and children is disturbing and unacceptable.

Meanwhile, the President also says that the country has overcome great challenges and has made the year a success.
