There are now six evacuation centers in the country where three are in the Western Division and three are in the Central Division.
Both centers have 40 evacuees each.
This had been confirmed by the National Disaster Management Office Director Vasiti Soko.
Soko says their main focus for the next 24 hours is to supply food rations to the evacuation centers and the deployment of teams to the Eastern Division, mainly Kadavu and Southern Lau.
She says after discussions with the Prime Minister, they will fly a team to Kadavu tomorrow morning which will work with the District Officers and assess the situation on the ground.
Soko says upon receiving the reports, they will then mobilize what needs to be done for Kadavu on Friday.
