Kobe Bryant's last tweet was to congratulate LeBron James on passing him to become the NBA's third-highest points scorer of all time.

James took third place when his LA Lakers were beaten 108-91 by the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.

James scored 29 points to move to 33,655 career points, 12 more than Bryant, who was also a star for the LA Lakers.

Kareem Abdul Jabbar is the NBA's all-time top scorer on 38,387 points, ahead of Karl Malone on 36,928. Both played for the Lakes during their careers.
